Started as a kid’s shoe shop, this French brand is now known as a ready-to-wear luxury apparel boutique. The brand’s main aim has been to provide practical clothing made with precision. By the 70’s Celine went international, showcasing their brand across America and Hong Kong.

It was Luxe sportswear with the intricate couture-like finishing which became the reason for Celine’s success. Now Celine boasts of its stripped-down sophisticated, and minimalistic apparel for women and men. With the majority of its years focused on women’s interests, the brand experienced menswear collection launched by a new designer Slimane

What made Celine highly popular were the bags and shoe collections targeted at the middle-class and not just the elite. Celine Vipiana – the mastermind behind the brand, made denim more fashionable and feminine for women to style. The aim was to provide chic, not fancy clothing for modern-day women.
