Sergio Rossi used to design footwear at the Versace in the 1990s – using his remarkable craftsmanship and artistic designs, but he was not only practicing his craft. His son, Gianvito Rossi, was under his tutelage even before he had started walking. The world would have missed out on the splendid shoe designs had it not been for Gianvito Rossi to carry forward his father’s craftsmanship.

Clean and Minimalistic

Under constant scrutiny after his father’s talent, Gianvito decided to live up to his father’s legacy in a unique fashion. His famous Italian shoe designs made a successful debut in the 2006 Spring/Summer Milan Fashion Week. People wanted more of his less-is-more aesthetic, and in just a short period, he established his brand in the global luxury footwear scene.
